About Us

The story behind Purple Glass is multi-faceted. My grandmother had a set of Hazel Atlas Moroccan Amethyst glass dishes I would ask to eat from when I visited as a child.

They're the color of fine red wine. I call them simply, 'purple glass.'

Amethyst & Garnet inspired our logo, both for the colors & the properties.

Amethyst is associated with the Third Eye & Crown Chakras.
It is the stone of Spirituality & Contentment. It bestows Stability, Strength & Inner Peace. 

It's a great stone for the enhancement of Intuition, Psychic Abilities & Meditation with its calming & peaceful energy. 

Amethyst provides Clarity & Enhances Conscious, Perception & Understanding. 

Garnets help turn Visions into Physical Reality. They are stones of Prosperity, Pleasure & Manifestation, supporting you to live the Good Life! 

Yin-Yang refers to an ancient Chinese philosophy where Opposite Forces are seen as Interconnected & Counterbalancing.

Yin, the dark swirl, represents Shadows, Femininity & the Trough of a Wave. Yang, the light swirl, represents Brightness, Masculinity, Passion & Growth. 

The Lotus Flower is one Buddhist symbol of Fortune. It grows in muddy water, which gives forth the flower's first & most literal meaning: Rising & Blooming above the murk to achieve Enlightenment. A White Lotus Flower refers to Purity of the Mind & of the Spirit.

The Om Symbol (AUM) combines curves, a crescent & a dot.
The Waking State ('A') is represented by the bottom curve. The Dream State ('U') is the middle curve. The Unconscious State or State of Deep Sleep ('M') is represented with the upper curve. The crescent shape above the curves denotes Maya, or Illusion, which is the Obstacle sitting in the way of reaching the Highest State of Bliss. The dot at the top of the symbol represents the fourth State of Consciousness: Absolute Peace & Bliss. It is believed to be the state in which someone could truly connect with the Divine.

 Purple Glass Healing Arts pays homage to these hopeful symbols in the design of our beautiful logo.

Curiosity has long been one of my Strong Characteristics. As a child, 

I Questioned Everything. My Quest for Knowledge, Experience, Spiritual Study, Health & Well-Being, Personal Growth, Theatre, Music, Nature, Travel & Beauty kept me moving. 

My past is peppered with mind-blowing experiences & full of moments of great awe & joy. Equally, it is peppered with confidence struggles & a deep 

sense of self-doubt.

What if...We are Ethereal Balls of Energy making Agreements to fulfill once Earthbound?...We intersect with other Collaborators to fulfill our Karmic Jaunt for mutual (sometimes pain filled) Growth, Elevation & the Greater Good?...We navigate our Spiritual Journey as we Traverse this thing called Life.? 

That's some heady stuff. 

Though I constantly reminded myself I was Here for some Greater Purpose, it often eluded me. As I Searched to Heal, I began dreaming of helping others Heal & Re-Discover their Purpose.  I have now come Full Circle & am Home. My Purpose is Re-Ignited.

What if...Like-Minded Practitioners & Facilitators gathered in a Centralized Location to offer Searchers Insight, Encouragement, Self-Care, Good Vibes, Good Work & a Path toward the Greater Good?
